About The Position

This internship is best suited for candidates interested in learning about a career in investment banking, private equity, or credit investing. The intern selected will experience a comprehensive, finance-centric, internship that involves corporate credit analysis, modeling, and valuation skill building. The candidate will sit within deal teams and actively participate in the loan origination / underwriting and investment decision making process. The experience, coaching, and networking in this internship prepare the candidate well for a subsequent summer internship at AB-PCI or another division within the broader AllianceBernstein organization.

Requirements

• 2028 Bachelor’s degree candidates with demonstrated excellence in academics
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Ability to thoughtfully assemble and analyze data, working comfortably in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate good judgment and attention to detail, ability to take initiative and be proactive
• Work well independently as well as within a team
• Strong work ethic and desire to explore a career path in investment banking, private equity, or credit investing

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the loan origination / underwriting and investment decision making process.
• Complete pre-reading and on-line financial modeling preparation courses.
