About The Position

As a Private Client Banker in a Chase branch, you represent Chase’s brand and culture by delivering welcoming, attentive service and banking solutions to affluent clients and other branch clients. You manage clients’ complete banking relationships across the company using a proactive, disciplined, advice-based approach to grow balances, recommend products and services that fit clients’ financial needs, and connect clients with specialists for more complex financial needs. You also help acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources. The position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators, including a review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information. The role requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and continued compliance with applicable registration, renewal, and update requirements. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies applicants from consideration.

Requirements

Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
At least 1 year of branch banking banker experience or equivalent financial services sales experience, with proven success acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and generating revenue.
Excellent in-person and telephone communication skills, including the ability to tailor product and service features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail and provide a consistent client experience.
Ability to work within established risk parameters and meet internal and external risk and compliance obligations, including required training.
High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including Series 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. Applicants without licenses must obtain them through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire; study materials and support are provided.
Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Meet Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements, including financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness determinations.
NMLS registration under the SAFE Act, or an update to an existing registration, immediately after the start date, with continued compliance including annual renewal and required updates.
