About The Position

A family of two adults in the Fenway area of Boston is seeking a part-time private chef to cook from their home three days a week. Lunches will be prepared fresh daily, and dinner will be prepared and served nightly. The family has three adult children who often visit and are included in dinners. The family enjoys a variety of cuisines and flavors throughout the week, and frequently hosts dinner guests and light entertaining. Travel to a second home in Rhode Island is required during the summer months. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding and ability to execute low histamine meals to help manage symptoms of sarcoidosis, which is paramount for the client’s overall health and lifestyle goals. The chef will be willing to continually learn and adapt to changing health conditions as needed to support restorative health goals. The wife still enjoys cooking and may ask the chef to purchase simple ingredients for their days off so she can continue to cook meals. Some guidance and idea sharing would be of great support. The family is searching for a chef with both higher-end restaurant experience as well as the ability to seamlessly execute healthy, beautifully presented, and flavorful meals in an intimate home environment. The chef must have their own reliable transportation.
