A private family based in Beverly Hills is looking for a full-time Private Chef to join their household. The role is Monday to Friday, preparing lunch and early dinner for two adults and one young child. The chef will typically start late morning and finish after dinner service, with breakfast prepared in advance where appropriate. The family enjoys a wide variety of cuisines including strong South East Asian cuisine, Italian, French, and modern American as well as healthy snacks. They are looking for a chef who can cook both healthy and indulgent food, with strong flavor and versatility. The chef must be comfortable adapting to dietary needs, including anti-inflammatory, gluten-free, and dairy-free cooking when required. One principal has an allergy to fish and shellfish, so careful kitchen management and food safety are essential, while still being able to prepare these ingredients for other family members. All meals must be prepared fresh and with no processed options. This is a full-time, permanent position offered on a W2 employed basis. The package includes healthcare reimbursement of approximately $500 per month, plus sick days and vacation allowance. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with lunch and early dinner service, and 2 days off per week. Flexibility is required for occasional dinner parties or schedule changes. The family is looking for a friendly, low-ego chef who integrates well into a positive household environment. Experience working in private homes and with young children is important. The chef should be comfortable with all aspects of the kitchen, including shopping, stocking, and maintaining a clean workspace. The role will require light table service and clearing for simple meals. Personality and attitude are as important as culinary skill.
