About The Position

Responsible for providing exceptional client service to our internal and external clients in coordination with Branch Banking, Commercial Lending and Treasury. The overall objective is to effectively execute all sales, service, and referral routines to attain, deepen and grow client relationships. Will be the “face” of our organization to our clients and associates and will be responsible for that first impression. A Service with Solutions-oriented approach is essential, with a focus on delivering a best in class client experience. This role will coordinate activities and behaviors to help our teams, clients, communities, and shareholders succeed. Ensures key stakeholders are delivering WISE Service with Solutions consistently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree in related field strongly preferred.
  • Five years of successful business-level sales experience.
  • Five years of banking leadership or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and strong performance with face-to-face customer service, digital engagement, and sales/referrals.
  • Broad knowledge of banking regulations related to commercial lending and deposit products.
  • Proven leadership, management, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a single point of contact for onboarding, maintaining, strengthening, and retaining the Bank’s valued business clients while connecting appropriate partners as necessary.
  • Build individual book of business, as well as help the team develop their own books of business. Seek prospects through COIs, referrals, and networking to drive new clients to the bank.
  • Lead the Private Banking Team as a role model, mentor, leader, and champion. Recruit, hire, and maintain appropriate headcount modeled on growth objectives for Private Banking.
  • Engage in quality conversations between Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, related departments, and key stakeholders to ensure successful collaboration as One Team. Ensure consistent standards for assessing employee performance, including successes and opportunities for growth.
  • Deliver the bank's value proposition through presenting products and services while proactively educating clients how best to utilize technology related channels when appropriate.
  • Identify areas for client service improvements, actively promoting Tri Counties Bank’s values and vision toward times of change.
  • Move forward and move fast with clients and colleagues alike. Use the various marketing tools and digital technology available to present product offers and financial solutions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Commercial Lending, Treasury and Branch Banking and remain flexible in position based on needs of respective business lines. Learn new and existing products through sales aids demonstrating positive, can-do attitude and client first culture maintaining Service with Solutions.
  • Present strong leadership, team building and role modeling while championing Tri Counties Bank’s efforts to establish a best-in-class culture through employee experience, workforce, and workplace excellence.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive products, practices, rates, and changes in market area.
  • Coordinate One Team efforts across multiple lines of business including, but not limited to: Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Home Mortgage, and Tri Counties Advisors.
  • Partner with CRA/Fair Lending Officer on business opportunities related to community development and CRA lending. Represent the bank in community and civic affairs.
  • Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (SARs, CIP, OFAC), Information Security (GLBA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and any other applicable regulations that may be specific to the job duties.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives to grow or advance efforts for the Private Banking division.
