About The Position

Team Red Dog is hiring a Privacy Program Manager for our client, a leading cloud and software provider and global technology leader. This fully remote opportunity supports client’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) Privacy team, helping drive enterprise privacy governance, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Privacy by Design initiatives, regulatory compliance, and process automation across one of the world's largest cloud organizations. You'll partner with engineering, security, legal, HR, procurement, and business leaders to reduce privacy risk, improve operational excellence, and build scalable privacy processes that protect employee, supplier, and customer data. Requirements

  • Experience conducting or supporting privacy reviews, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), compliance reviews, and privacy risk assessments while ensuring regulatory requirements are met across technical systems and business processes.
  • Strong background in privacy operations, GDPR, regulatory compliance, information protection, risk management, and enterprise data governance, with the ability to translate complex privacy requirements into actionable business and technical solutions.
  • Proven experience managing multiple cross-functional initiatives, driving documentation, tracking compliance activities, improving operational processes, and partnering with engineering, legal, security, HR, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with privacy governance platforms such as TrustArc or OneTrust, workflow automation, reporting dashboards, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar tools to improve visibility, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management, product management, product development, data analysis, or related program delivery roles.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting privacy, compliance, regulatory programs, information protection, security, risk management, or data governance initiatives.
  • Experience conducting privacy reviews, compliance reviews, risk assessments, or implementing privacy and compliance controls.
  • Strong understanding of privacy regulations, governance frameworks, and enterprise privacy operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical and regulatory requirements to cross-functional audiences.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, prioritization, and program management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with cloud services, enterprise technology, infrastructure, or large-scale technology organizations is highly desirable.
  • Experience with TrustArc, OneTrust, privacy governance platforms, workflow automation, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is preferred.
  • IAPP certifications such as CIPP and/or CIPM are highly preferred.
  • Candidates with a legal background, IAPP certifications (CIPP and/or CIPM), experience supporting enterprise privacy programs or cloud services, and hands-on knowledge of privacy governance platforms such as TrustArc or OneTrust will stand out.
  • Individuals who continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational excellence while serving as trusted privacy advisors are especially well suited for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct privacy reviews for services, systems, business processes, and technical solutions, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Evaluate privacy risks and ensure compliance with GDPR, Microsoft Privacy Standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on data collection, consent, retention, access controls, data sharing, and privacy documentation.
  • Promote Privacy by Design principles throughout the software and operational lifecycle.
  • Partner with engineering, legal, HR Privacy, procurement, supplier assurance, security, and business stakeholders to implement privacy requirements.
  • Develop and maintain privacy guidance, playbooks, templates, and operational documentation.
  • Identify manual processes, governance gaps, and opportunities to improve privacy operations.
  • Drive workflow automation, tooling improvements, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support privacy governance platforms, intake processes, dashboards, and compliance reporting.
  • Manage multiple concurrent privacy initiatives while independently prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
