About The Position

SpyCloud is looking for a detail-oriented Privacy Analyst to support their privacy program on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in privacy compliance who can hit the ground running with minimal oversight. The Privacy Analyst will own the day-to-day execution of key privacy operations functions, primarily around consent management and data subject rights. This is a part-time 1099 contractor role, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in privacy operations, compliance, or a related role.
• Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy frameworks.
• Experience with CMP platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Osano, Cookiebot) and/or DSAR management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively with stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or similar privacy certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain our cookie consent management platform (CMP), ensuring banners, categories, and consent records are accurate and up to date.
• Conduct periodic cookie audits to identify new or changed cookies and update the CMP accordingly.
• Monitor for compliance with applicable regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, CIPA, ePrivacy, etc.).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming Data Subject Access Requests and deletion/opt-out requests that come through our CMP.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, product, customer support) to locate, compile, and deliver responsive data.
• Flag edge cases, legal holds, or high-risk requests for escalation.
• Process DROP requests within the required 45-day timeframe, ensuring deletion is completed across all relevant data systems.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails of DROP request fulfillment.
