About The Position
SpyCloud is seeking a detail-oriented Privacy Analyst to support its privacy program on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in privacy compliance who can work with minimal oversight. The Privacy Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of key privacy operations functions, primarily focusing on consent management and data subject rights.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in privacy operations, compliance, or a related role.
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy frameworks.
- Experience with CMP platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Osano, Cookiebot) and/or DSAR management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or similar privacy certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cookie consent management platform (CMP), ensuring banners, categories, and consent records are accurate and up to date.
- Conduct periodic cookie audits to identify new or changed cookies and update the CMP accordingly.
- Monitor for compliance with applicable regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, CIPA, ePrivacy, etc.).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming Data Subject Access Requests and deletion/opt-out requests that come through the CMP.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, product, customer support) to locate, compile, and deliver responsive data.
- Flag edge cases, legal holds, or high-risk requests for escalation.
- Process Data Subject Rights (DROP) requests within the required 45-day timeframe, ensuring deletion is completed across all relevant data systems.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails of DROP request fulfillment.
