About The Position

The Facility Management Clerk supports the daily operations of the on-site TPS Print Center while providing excellent customer service to facility staff and customers. Although employed by ImageNet, this position is located at a customer facility and serves as a primary point of contact for print, copy, finishing, document, and related services. This is an opening shift position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. Reliable and punctual attendance is essential. The employee must be ready to open and prepare the Print Center for daily operations at 7:00 AM. This position is ideal for a dependable, hardworking, self-motivated individual who works well independently, manages time effectively, communicates well, and takes ownership of assigned work. The employee will manage daily assignments as well as larger projects that may take several days or weeks to complete. ImageNet is willing to train the right candidate. Previous print-center experience is preferred but not required; however, customer service experience is required.

  • Must be willing and able to learn all equipment used within the TPS Print Center.
  • Must be able to reliably work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, including responsibility for opening the Print Center.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Print-center, production printing, or equipment experience preferred but not required.
  • May be required to take and pass a Core Basic Copier Technology Exam.

Responsibilities

  • Open and prepare the TPS Print Center for daily operations.
  • Operate and become proficient with Print Center equipment, including Canon and Ricoh printers, large-format equipment, laminator, envelope printer, and binding, tabbing, and finishing equipment.
  • Learn and utilize applicable software and company systems.
  • Perform copying, printing, finishing, binding, laminating, tabbing, bar coding, Bates labeling, and other document-production services.
  • Monitor equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and communicate equipment problems requiring additional assistance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Print Center.
  • Monitor and order paper, toner, and other necessary supplies.
  • Provide meter readings for billback of jobs produced, where applicable.
  • Deliver completed jobs to customers and departments.
  • Provide professional and responsive customer service to facility staff and customers.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails daily.
  • Manage walk-up customer requests and order submissions.
  • Monitor and process online/web order submissions.
  • Communicate clearly regarding job requirements, deadlines, and order status.
  • Research and resolve customer concerns whenever possible.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, facility personnel, and ImageNet management.
  • Complete daily assignments while managing customer requests and production responsibilities.
  • Independently prioritize and organize workload based on deadlines and customer needs.
  • Manage both short-term assignments and larger projects that may extend over multiple days or weeks.
  • Take ownership of projects from beginning to completion and maintain progress without constant supervision.
  • Meet established deadlines and communicate proactively when issues may affect completion.
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying priorities and next steps without requiring continuous direction.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, customer needs, equipment, processes, and procedures.
