About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring product safety and quality through various tasks including paperwork, taking readings, operating machinery, cleaning molds, and assisting with changeovers. The role also involves evaluating and maintaining a safe work environment, inspecting work areas for hazards, and performing general cleaning duties. The operator must adhere to all safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting
• Willingness to be trained on Blow mold basics 6 wk. Operator Training Course
• Cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

• Mechanical Aptitude a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality
• Complete all related paperwork
• Take readings (all bottle measurements)
• Run the blow molder and all downstream components
• Clean molds
• Assist with changeovers
• Evaluate and take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment
• Inspect work areas for unsafe acts/conditions
• Effectively use verbal and written communications
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
