About The Position

The Printing Services Manager provides operational, administrative, and strategic leadership for Tennessee Tech University’s Printing Services unit. This role oversees daily print operations delivered through a managed services contract, ensuring alignment with university standards, service expectations, fiscal controls, and institutional priorities. The position serves as the university’s primary point of accountability for print services, managing vendor performance, production workflows, budgeting, compliance, and customer service for campus-wide printing needs. The Printing Services Manager exercises independent judgment in coordinating resources, resolving operational issues, monitoring contract deliverables, and recommending service improvements to support academic, administrative, enrollment, and marketing initiatives. Operating with a high level of autonomy, the role bridges internal university stakeholders and contracted print personnel to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality printing services that reflect Tennessee Tech’s brand, stewardship responsibilities, and service expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience in operational, administrative, and strategic leadership.
