About The Position

Digital Room is hiring a Printing Press Operator at its plant in Arlington, Texas. The role operates and prepares press equipment for printing jobs, follows job specifications and priorities, checks printed work and equipment operation, maintains production records in the IMS system, and works with coworkers and management to complete assigned duties. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with availability for required overtime based on business needs. The listed pay range is $22–$30; actual compensation depends on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, education, and applicable laws.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in printing and production processes.
• Understand press machine printing.
• Understand imaging layouts and the quality of printed jobs.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to use appropriate hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues and take corrective action.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for 50% of the time.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to walk and move around the work area for 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Read job orders in the IMS system to determine priorities and specifications and plan the daily workload.
• Clean and set up the press machine according to the designated print job.
• Create a ready batch for each run processed on the press machine.
• Observe machine operation to detect work-piece defects or malfunctions and adjust machines as necessary.
• Maintain daily production records using specified forms and enter completion time and date into IMS software.
• Communicate with coworkers and management to ensure assigned duties are completed.
• Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Keep equipment, tools, and workstations in good working order and free of safety hazards.
• Be available for required overtime based on business needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
