Printing Press Operator (1st shift)

About The Position
The Printing Press Operator operates proof presses and embossing machines to create print samples for new product development. The role includes loading and unloading print sleeves, cylinders, and embossing rollers; adjusting colors; and cleaning equipment as needed. The position is on the first shift, from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and pays $21–$23.50 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience in the printing industry.
- Mechanically inclined and able to distinguish colors.
- Forklift experience required.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and wear required PPE.
Responsibilities
- Operate proof presses and embossing machines to create print samples for new product development.
- Load and unload print sleeves, cylinders, and embossing rollers.
- Adjust colors and clean equipment as needed.
