About The Position

Assistant Printing Press Operator (2nd Shift) is responsible for operating printing press machinery. This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform physical tasks. The position may involve training on the 1st shift and potential weekend/holiday work. Sensory tests may be performed to assess specific visual and tactile abilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, twist, balance, climb and heavy lift up to 60lbs
• Must have steel toe or composite safety shoes

Nice To Haves

• Previous machine operation experience is preferred
• Depth perception, near/field vision, temperature, color and tactile discrimination

Responsibilities

• Operate printing press machinery
• Perform physical tasks including standing, stooping, bending, twisting, balancing, climbing, and heavy lifting up to 60lbs.
