About The Position

Seeking a Print Support Specialist I to provide daily support for network and workstation printers in a hospital environment. This role includes printer troubleshooting and break/fix support, toner delivery, inventory management, printer procurement, documentation, customer support, and assistance with print/copy center projects. The position requires a technically skilled, organized, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and spending most of the day on their feet.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for network and workstation printers.
  • Respond to customer support requests and resolve issues quickly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Troubleshoot printer hardware and connectivity issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
  • Keep customers informed of issue status and resolution progress.
  • Deliver toner and maintain on-site consumables inventory.
  • Manage printer hardware inventory, hot-swap inventory, and procurement activities.
  • Assist with printer installations, moves, replacements, and relocations.
  • Support copy center operations and print production projects as needed.
  • Document service requests, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and fleet meter reads.
  • Maintain printer fleet tools, databases, and records.
  • Provide remote support and document troubleshooting information.
  • Communicate fleet status and performance updates to management.
