About The Position

The Print Shop Specialist will assist the Designers in operating all print shop equipment to fulfill agent and office orders in a timely and orderly fashion with an eye on safety and cleanliness.

• Ability to learn to run all shop equipment while following safety protocols for each.

• Physical requirements involve sitting to perform general office work at a computer, and mobility throughout an office to light maintenance work

• Strong organizational abilities
• Computer skills - basic (typing, basic spreadsheets, emails, and using software systems)
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar) or similar office software.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the office and production areas while performing job duties.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate high-volume commercial digital color printers, wide-format vinyl/board plotters, and production printers.
• Perform post-press finishing tasks: high-precision paper cutting/trimming, scoring, folding, laminating, mounting, saddle-stitching, and coil binding.
• Execute routine preventative equipment maintenance.
• Manage incoming print requests, maintaining clear communication regarding status and fulfillment timelines.
• Maintain organized inventory of paper stocks, specialty vinyl, sign boards, ink cartridges, toner, and binding supplies.
