About The Position
A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage, and Marketing Services company in Houston, Texas is looking for an experienced Print Production Operator. We have a fast-paced, creative, and flexible work environment that empowers our employees to contribute and work independently with a solid team of experienced professionals. We work with a dynamic and exciting client base ranging from Non-Profits to Manufacturing, Commercial Real Estate, Contractors, and Construction. With the tools and technologies provided, we focus on putting our energy toward creating an exceptional experience for each and every customer. This is where our Production Team comes in! Our Print Production Operator works closely with customers and our sales team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- An understanding of printers, their functions, and processes
- An aptitude for technical reading and math with attention to detail
- The ability to multitask running multiple printers at the same time
- Able to reference technical manuals about printers' operation and maintenance
Responsibilities
- Operate both sheet fed printers and roll to roll large format printers
- Schedule jobs by due dates indicated or as directed by management
- Call for printer maintenance and manage technical repairs
- Communicate with sales and graphics teams for a complete understanding of the print order
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Maintain inventory of paper and supplies as needed
