About The Position

Ricoh is seeking a Print Production Clerk / Senior On-Site Service Specialist to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive print and copy services, including black and white and color copying, scanning, and various finishing services. The position also requires delivering printing projects on-site, coordinating project preparation, and managing print jobs from download to delivery. The clerk will be responsible for maintaining quality controls, responding to first-level equipment support calls, performing routine machine maintenance, and running reports to track equipment status and downtime.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a print or copy centre.
  • Effective use of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift 30+lbs. as necessary.
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide black and white & color copy and print services.
  • Perform single-sided and double-sided copying on various paper sizes (8.5x11, 8.5x14, 11x17 and 12x18).
  • Conduct color/black & white scanning.
  • Offer OCR Services, Trimming, Stapling, Cerlox, coil and wire binding.
  • Perform document labeling and pagination services.
  • Provide finishing services including binding, tab insertion, cutting, drilling, lamination, and hole punching.
  • Deliver printing projects throughout the customer's site.
  • Coordinate and prepare projects for printing, including electronic file conversion, document scanning, and enhancement from start to delivery.
  • Download jobs from email or print queue, perform sizing, reproducing, sorting, and finishing.
  • Establish and maintain quality controls to ensure work accuracy.
  • Respond to first-level phone calls from end users of equipment to determine the problem, clear paper jams, run test copies, and determine machine status.
  • Conduct scheduled trips to all machines for cleaning of glass, toner replacement, stocking paper, and general cleanliness of the workspace.
  • Run reports.
  • Keep logs of downtime, repairs, and meter charges of all copiers/printers on site.
