About The Position

If you are enthusiastic about 3D printing, want hands-on experience with printers, and are interested in exploring the 3D printing industry, we want you as a Print Optimization Intern on the SLA Materials Team. Requirements

  • Well-organized, good time management, and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Communicate test results effectively and in a timely manner
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with experimental design
  • Experience working with protocols/SOPs
  • Enthusiastic and interested in 3D printing

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding programming and scientific computing, ideally Python and/or Matlab
  • Familiar with mechanical design and CAD modeling (Solidworks/OpenScad/Onshape a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test materials settings for peak performance (speed, surface quality, supports, etc)
  • Evaluate current material setting performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Design and execute experiments, using results to inform and develop improvements in software or hardware
  • Learn and operate high accuracy measurement equipment to validate your projects
