This role, referred to as a Film Material Handler, involves operating various pallet jacks and forklifts, managing order forms and job tickets, loading machines, organizing pallets, assisting operators, ensuring quality control, meeting shipping requirements, moving materials, replenishing maintenance items, performing housekeeping, and accurately reporting production results.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Technical training with printing concentration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate different pallet jacks and on occasion forklifts
  • Check and match order form & job ticket
  • Perform correct inch count before the run
  • Load machines with paper stacks
  • Stack and organize pallets
  • Assist Film operators
  • Make adjustments as needed to make ready to meet sign off quality control
  • Meet shipping requirements; ensure proper height requirements for the next department, skid weight is well marked, samples on top of skid, turned/flipped stock is properly marked
  • Move and load material throughout shift
  • Replenish machine maintenance items
  • Perform housekeeping functions
  • Report time and production results accurately
  • All other duties as assigned
