About The Position

As a Material Handler, you are the engine that keeps our production lines moving efficiently. You will support the Finishing department and Machine Operators to ensure non-stop operations.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and job tickets.
High level of attention to detail and a strong team-player mentality.
Mechanically inclined mindset.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
Ability to occasionally lift 30–65 lbs.
Ability to push/pull up to 1,100 lbs. utilizing a manual pallet jack.
Must be able to pass a color differentiation test and maintain that capability.
Ability to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
6+ months of manufacturing experience or technical training with a printing concentration is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, stage, and prep incoming jobs from other departments using pallet flippers, pallet jacks, and hand stacking/jogging.
Move and load material throughout the shift to keep equipment fully stocked with printed stock, foil, and consumables.
Cross-train to relieve machine operators for scheduled breaks to ensure continuous production.
Assist operators with machine make-readies, as well as Daily (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks.
Accurately report all time and production results per company standards.
