About The Position

Arena is a high-end print media company focused on entrepreneurship, technology, and capital. We are looking for a talented designer to work on our print magazines and books, as well as the digital interfaces used to present them. The core skillset for this role is editorial and print design, with mastery of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma, and an interest in new design tools. Responsibilities include designing printed products and interfaces, typesetting, editorial design for the flagship quarterly magazine in collaboration with the editorial team and art director, designing for coffee table books, and creative exploration for new products. While print design is the core focus, experience in web & interface design is considered a plus.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Mastery of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Interest in keeping up with new design tools.
• Already enjoy Arena and its content/vibe.
• Self-starter.
• Attention to detail.
• Actively want to join a startup and abhor corporate bureaucracy.
• Willingness to work hard and be available at most times during the day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in web & interface design.
