Part-Time Print Center Operator
About The Position
The Part-Time Print Center Operator will operate apparatus such as digital production presses, wide-format printers, bindery equipment and perform related work as required. Reporting to the Reproduction Services Supervisor, this person will be responsible for operating monochrome and color digital presses, a Roland wide format printer and plot cutter, and bindery equipment. They will produce printed materials such as brochures, forms, newsletters and exhibits using Flux or Fiery, Roland VersaWorks, and Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator) and SignLab. Additionally, they will operate an envelope press and a Ryobi 3302H two color press.
Requirements
- Ability to operate monochrome and color digital production press.
- Ability to operate wide-format printer with plot cutting.
- Ability to operate digital envelope press.
- Ability to operate various bindery equipment.
- Have knowledge of Flux/Fiery, VersaWorks, Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator), and SignLab.
Nice To Haves
- Offset Printing Press knowledge preferred.
