About The Position

The V-22 Program is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Management to support On Contract Growth programs within the V-22 Portfolio of Software Development and Integration. The successful candidate will provide leadership oversight to ensure adherence to program schedules, costs, milestones and technical performance, prepare corrective action plans, and coordinate proposal preparation. Growth programs include Capability Defect Packages (CDPs) as well as other new sole source opportunities in development. This position will be accountable for achieving all internal financial goals, supporting process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance to all applicable policies and procedures. Additionally, this position will work closely with V-22 Program Managers across the portfolio, customers, and across service areas to ensure programmatic concerns are addressed in a timely manner to foster a strong working relationship. This is an onsite position that will be located at our Indianapolis, IN site Relocation Assistance is NOT Available

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum of 3 years of experience is required
  • Prior program/project management or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with program management practices such as (MS Project) or similar tools/programs
  • Prior experience and/or familiarity with Financials specifically Proft & Loss
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

  • Prior DoD customer experience
  • Prior experience successfully leading a cross functional team
  • Demonstrated innovative ‘out of the box’ thinking to support business objectives. Quick learner with clear drive to understand new technologies, capabilities, and customers. Effective oral, written, listening and computer skills to develop and present briefings
  • Prior Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar tool/program
  • Prior financial systems and program control, risk and opportunity (R&O) management experience
