Requirements

Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field
Valid K - 12 Principal License issued by the State of Minnesota, Department of Education.
Minimum of three (3) years of successful administrative experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Administrative experience in a K-6 setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Special Education programs serving federal settings II and III environments.
Foster inclusive and equitable learning environments within diverse, urban communities.
Implement effective teaching practices and curriculum development.
Utilize strong instructional leadership skills, including curriculum alignment, assessment systems, and data-driven decision-making.
Apply equity-centered practices, culturally responsive teaching, and strategies that close opportunity and achievement gaps.
Build collaborative relationships.
Utilize conflict resolution skills.
