About The Position

This position is for a Principal at Beaverbrook School, commencing for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be required to take part in meetings, attend to planning, and preparation prior to the official start date. The vision for the role is striving for excellence in education by engaging students’ passion for learning in a safe and positive environment.

Requirements

• hold or have the ability to have a continuing contract with a School District
• possess or willingness to obtain a New Brunswick Principal's Certificate
• Applicants who do not yet hold a New Brunswick Principal’s Certificate must clearly indicate in their cover letter and/or resume their current status in the certification process and which required graduate-level university courses and training modules they have completed to date

Nice To Haves

• a minimum of five (5) years teaching experience
• can demonstrate success in leading school improvement initiatives and working collaboratively to increase student learning outcomes
• have administration experience either in an acting or permanent capacity
• demonstrate implementation of research-based high impact instructional, and assessment practices appropriate to the level of the curriculum
• Bilingualism
