About The Position

This position is for a Principal at Twain Elementary School, reporting to an Area Superintendent. It is a full-time role (1.0 FTE, 8 hours per day, 210 days/year) with a salary range of $100,204 - $112,848 for the 2025–2026 Executive Professional Salary Schedule (Group B). Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Requirements

  • Valid Colorado Principal License (or eligibility for licensure) issued by the Colorado Department of Education.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom or related instructional experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative or leadership experience (assistant principal, dean, instructional coach, or equivalent).

  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate safety protocols and emergency preparedness to maintain a secure learning environment.
  • Collaborate with district leadership to execute the district’s Strategic Plan and school improvement goals.
  • Utilize data and research to inform strategic planning, goal setting, and resource allocation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance instructional quality and student outcomes.
  • Model ethical, reflective, and culturally responsive leadership practices.
  • Support a culture of continuous professional learning for staff and personal professional growth.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the D11 mission, values, and commitment to excellence.

  • Non-Recurring Pay: 7% of base salary in Non-Recurring Pay (distributed as 3.5% on November paycheck and 3.5% on May paycheck).
  • Professional Development Fund (PDF): EXEC Pro employees will be allocated $1,500 annually towards a Professional Development Fund (PDF) to be used for professional growth opportunities.
  • Staffing Stability Incentive (Mitchell High School Only): EXEC Pro employees will receive the equivalent of one salary step divided over 12 pay periods.
  • Pay for Performance (Mitchell High School): EXEC Pros will receive a Pay for Performance Bonus that is paid out in the fall (utilizing criteria from the previous year).
