About The Position

The residential Wireman focuses on wiring and troubleshooting residential electrical systems, ensuring work is performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with NEC and local codes.

Requirements

Valid Residential Wireman License
2+ years of residential electrical experience
Strong knowledge of NEC and local residential codes
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to lift 20+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight spaces (attic, crawl spaces)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Customer service skills and professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 preferred certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with smart home installations (thermostats, cameras, EV Chargers) a plus.

Responsibilities

Install and wire electrical systems in new and existing residential structures.
Obtain and transport materials as needed to ensure timely project execution and minimize job-site delays.
Install and troubleshoot outlets, switches, panels, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
Inspect electrical systems and identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
Ensure all work meets NEC and local building code requirements
Maintains clean, organized, and safe job sites, and Connex
Communicate clearly with homeowners, supervisors, and team members.
Complete work orders and necessary documentation accurately and on time.
Assist field managers within the housing community.
Complete Hi Power Electric’s QC checklist.
Handles warranties independently.
Proficient in Rough/Trim installation.
