About The Position

The Principal is responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing a shared vision and mission for Caldwell Elementary. This role involves using data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness, and promote continuous improvement. The Principal will create and oversee a rigorous and personalized curricular program, supervise instruction, and develop assessment systems to monitor student progress. Additionally, the Principal will focus on developing the instructional and leadership capacity of staff, promoting effective technology use, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. A key aspect of the role is to promote and protect the welfare and safety of students and staff, and to foster collaboration with families and stakeholders. The Principal will model ethical behavior, safeguard democratic values, and manage faculty, staff, and finances effectively. This includes planning and leading professional development, monitoring school operations, and executing district policies. The role also involves supervising extracurricular activities and performing other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.

  • Supervise all extracurricular activities of the school and coordinate activities with other schools of the Benton School District.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent.
