About The Position

This role is responsible for defining, building, and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon Bedrock across industry verticals. The specialist will engage with product managers to influence product direction and help customers tap into new markets by utilizing Amazon Bedrock along with other AWS Services. The role involves working directly with foundation model providers to develop joint Go-to-Market (GTM) plans, joint-customer engagements, external/internal evangelism, and developing demos and proof-of-concepts using Amazon Bedrock.

Requirements

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience.
  • 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience.
  • Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
  • Experience building sales plays and playbooks, prospecting for, advancing and closing sales pipeline to drive adoption of products/services/capabilities in ML, AI or Analytics across a large customer base with demonstrable results delivered.
  • Experience advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.
  • Experience in managing multiple initiatives and campaigns simultaneously (customer engagements, sales motions, webinars, sales asset development, etc.) working across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, Solution Architects, Account teams).
  • Experience teaching account teams how to sell technical products and services.
  • Experience managing, tracking, and communicating customer and market insights and objective business metrics and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Define go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Amazon Bedrock.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand existing markets.
  • Develop scalable programs to drive adoption.
  • Identify new opportunities, including market sizing.
  • Build an opportunity pipeline with global counterparts.
  • Work with customers to understand technical requirements.
  • Create content to train field teams.
  • Drive industry thought-leadership.
  • Work with product teams to define new features.
  • Identify partners.
  • Drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling adoption of Amazon Bedrock.
  • Interact with customers directly to understand their business problems.
  • Work with model providers and solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions.
  • Work closely with account teams and product teams to unblock and drive production implementations.
  • Represent the team to executive management.
  • Work directly with AWS's top customers.
  • Help companies/partners understand best practices for operating on AWS.
  • Look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation.
