About The Position

This role focuses on defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for functional areas of the autonomous system and identifying target markets. The Principal TPM will lead executives and key partners through complex decisions to drive progress towards strategic goals. This involves synthesizing technical and analytical insights with product intuition to formulate compelling roadmap investments and adapting quickly to new information. The role requires securing commitment and support for the roadmap through clear communication with engineering teams, partners, and executives. Additionally, the position involves creating and maintaining the necessary data infrastructure for decision-making and ensuring coordinated execution across AV engineering teams in an applied research setting with significant experimentation. The role also includes identifying and leading improvements to the team's innovation and approach to enable scaling of the team and impact.

Requirements

6+ years of proven success as a technical contributor leading development in robotics or similar industries - at least 2 of which are within the autonomous vehicle industry
Ability to generate crucial insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis
In-depth knowledge of modern software development and machine learning engineering practices
MS in electrical, computer, or robotics engineering or equivalent technical experience
Outstanding communication skills: verbal and written, with engineers, non-technical partners, and executives
Thrive in ambiguity, crafting simplicity and order
Creativity and curiosity: you're driven to find novel solutions and push forward an entire industry

Nice To Haves

10+ years of experience in robotics or similar industries
Experience with highly technical product management
Experience developing safety critical software
