Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Principal Test Hardware Engineer to join our Continued Engineering Support (CES) Team. The CES team is responsible for programs that are transitioning to production, programs that are in production, and sustainment programs. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms. Day-to-day activities will vary and may include: Designing automated test hardware for production and prime mission equipment testing. Verifying and validating this automated test hardware. Managing scope and schedule in collaboration with program teams to ensure timely delivery. Debugging existing test hardware solutions and identifying root causes. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in test hardware design and testing.
  • Ability to test and debug electrical circuits such as analog, digital, and RF.
  • Proficiency with automated test equipment (ATE) such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, and other ATE platforms.
  • Understanding of mechanical fixturing related to test solutions and troubleshooting mechanical issues within test fixtures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
  • Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure – Own the Design.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Experience in leading a small team of engineers in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED.
  • Experience with TestStand along with knowledge of other programming languages.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans.
