About The Position

The Principal Test Engineer leads the creation and deployment of production-ready Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for high-performance automotive processors from concept through high-volume mass production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and test programs for IP within the chip.
  • Design ATE loadboards for multi-gigahertz range.
  • Execute PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) characterization, first silicon bring-up, and IC qualification.
  • Utilize statistical data processing and design of experiments (DOE) to enhance yield and drive down test time and manufacturing costs.
  • Partner globally with analog/digital design, product engineering, quality assurance, and offshore assembly/test subcontractors (OSATs).
  • Oversee production release, define test limits, and manage customer support or customer returns.
