About The Position

Define and lead the long-term strategy for Walmart Marketplace's global returns and transaction experience ecosystem. As a Principal, you will shape enterprise strategy, influence executive decision-making, and drive transformational initiatives that strengthen trust, simplify returns, and protect the Marketplace through scalable reverse logistics, policy, and fraud prevention capabilities. You will partner across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal, and international teams to establish operating models and technology investments that improve seller performance, customer satisfaction, and Marketplace integrity. Marketplace Seller Fulfillment Solutions (SFS) provides customers a broad assortment of selection from third party sellers who fulfill on their own. Our team is comprised of motivated professionals who look for opportunities to create the best possible customer and seller experiences. SFS spans across multiple functional areas to achieve this excellence including pre purchase, post purchase, and returns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term vision and enterprise strategy for returns, refunds, cancellations, fraud prevention, and transaction experiences.
  • Influence executive leaders and align cross-functional organizations to deliver scalable reverse logistics and trust initiatives.
  • Shape strategic investments using customer insights, market trends, risk analysis, and business strategy.
  • Establish enterprise operating models and governance that improve customer satisfaction, seller trust, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on Marketplace trust, policy, and reverse logistics strategy.
