Are you bold thinking? Find your place on our team and help us change the world! We are looking for a Principal Technician Maintenance Mechanic - Fab Facilities FM for our Austin, TX, location. Applicants must have direct experience coordinating a maintenance crew in a fast paced, semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 10 years of semiconductor maintenance experience
  • 3-5 years experience coordinating a maintenance team.
  • Familiarity with clean room requirements and protocols
  • Familiarity with high purity materials and fabrication methods
  • Hands on experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and/ or TIG welding.
  • Mechanically inclined, ability to troubleshoot equipment, excellent communication skills and follow- up, attention to detail, collaborative, organized, sense of urgency.
  • Able to learn and use software to order materials and equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize day-to-day operations of the Facilities Trouble Call Team.
  • Professionally interface with customers for maintenance and repairs covering a variety of tasks in support of a large semiconductor fabrication facility.
  • Plan and complete tasks, both planned and unplanned as they arise in the most efficient manner.
  • Order, receive and track materials and equipment needed to support maintenance projects
  • Work within defined technical processes and procedures
  • Manage team costs and budgets
