About The Position

The Principal, Technical Program Manager leads the planning and execution of complex, large-scale technical programs involving multiple teams and cross-functional dependencies. This role requires deep expertise in program and risk management, technical design, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions. The position demands proactive communication, strategic problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindset to optimize workflows and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will independently lead cross-functional initiatives, align teams around shared objectives, and mentor others while maintaining a strong focus on achieving business goals and advancing technology strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Extensive experience in technical program and project management, including risk management and stakeholder management across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to define, manage, and execute end-to-end program plans while effectively balancing dependencies, timelines, resources, and business priorities.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience translating product requirements into scalable system and platform designs, including knowledge of cloud infrastructure and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Experience driving operational excellence through monitoring, incident management, process optimization, and automation frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and deliver concise, data-driven updates to leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify systemic issues and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 4 years’ experience in product design.

Responsibilities

  • Define program goals, stage gates, critical delivery paths, milestones, and key deliverables for large-scale technical initiatives with multiple dependencies.
  • Secure stakeholder commitments on program scope, delivery timelines, and resource allocation while effectively managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions, system architectures, and implementation plans.
  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing frameworks, best practices, and automation techniques that enhance program execution and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, dependencies, and business impacts clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Mentor and guide team members on program management, technical execution, and delivery best practices.
