About The Position

Amazon Conversational Search is an innovative LLM-based feature within the Amazon App/Desktop, enabling customers to interact with Amazon using natural language conversations. We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead mission-critical programs focused on building the cutting-edge infrastructure for this experience and developing new, engaging customer experiences in this domain.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

• 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Responsibilities

• Running high visibility programs across multiple teams in the Alexa for Shopping organization.
• Managing stakeholders across these teams, as well as senior leadership in Search and adjacent organizations.
• Mentoring and growing other technical leaders to help them scale and lead mission-critical initiatives.
• Using data and key metrics to drive improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.
