About The Position

Workday is seeking a Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the narrative for Workday's Agent Platform. This role is responsible for crafting a clear, market-leading story that resonates with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise architects. The position is high-visibility and requires strong executive presence and operational rigor. Success will be measured through impact on platform narrative clarity, market leadership perception, and field effectiveness. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, partner, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, translating a complex technology stack into a unified, market-leading platform narrative. The goal is to drive increased platform adoption, position Workday's Agent Platform as a market leader, and equip sales, enterprise architects, partners, and solution consulting teams with a cohesive, technically grounded story and enablement assets.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical product marketing, with depth in platform, infrastructure, or enterprise AI products.
  • Strong executive presence: comfortable speaking with CIOs and IT leaders about their agentic strategy and how Workday enables it.
  • Able to build trust with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex, layered technologies and distill them into clear, compelling, differentiated narratives – driving adoption.
  • Operationally rigorous: able to drive processes, align cross-functional teams, and deliver outcomes at scale with precision and accountability.
  • Thrives in ambiguity.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset, deep curiosity, and resourcefulness; not afraid to ask questions, take initiative, and operate independently in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and thread a holistic agent platform narrative across agent governance, agent management, and agent interoperability offerings.
  • Develop messaging frameworks that resonate with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise architects, highlighting differentiation and customer value.
  • Serve as a primary marketing voice for Workday's Agent Platform with CIOs, IT leaders, and senior customer stakeholders.
  • Support analyst briefings, executive roundtables, and customer advisory sessions.
  • Monitor competitor agent platforms and governance approaches to identify differentiation opportunities and competitive risks.
  • Translate insights into positioning, personas, and strategic recommendations.
  • Create high-value field-facing and technical content, including sales decks, guides, and thought leadership.
  • Build and deliver compelling demos that illustrate the agent platform's value end-to-end.
  • Lead cross-functional GTM programs for Agent Platform capabilities, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Events teams to drive adoption at key events.
  • Track success via platform adoption, narrative penetration, and enablement effectiveness metrics.
