As Principal Technical Product Manager you will serve as a principal expert in designing, developing, and managing activities for specific technical products or product groups from definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. You act as a central technical resource, aligning design, process, manufacturing, test, and quality to ensure the product successfully moves to production and distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or developer enablement.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle — from requirements through build, test, and deployment.
  • Experience driving adoption of new tools, practices, or platforms across engineering organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows (GitHub Copilot, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct management authority.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences — comfortable presenting to leadership and pairing with engineers in the same day.
  • Strong analytical thinking — able to assess team readiness, measure adoption, and use data to prioritize where to invest effort.
  • Broad generalist mindset — comfortable working across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and DevOps as the situation requires.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of AI-native transformation initiatives across engineering teams — owning key workstreams end-to-end within the broader enablement program.
  • Serve as a primary enablement resource across engineering teams, platform teams, and leadership — driving AI-native development practices into daily workflows.
  • Own the enablement lifecycle for assigned areas: readiness assessment, activation planning, adoption measurement, and continuous iteration at organizational scale.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted SDLC practices — spec-driven development, agent-based workflows, and developer tooling — ensuring teams have on-ramps that fit their maturity level.
  • Build and maintain measurement infrastructure that gives leadership real-time visibility into AI adoption, compliance signals, and delivery impact.
  • Bridge the gap between platform capabilities and team needs — identifying where teams are stuck, building reusable skills and tooling, and feeding friction patterns back to platform teams.
  • Translate technical AI capabilities into language that resonates with leaders, TPMs, and engineers — running dev days, role-specific sessions, and demos that make the shift tangible.
  • Operate across the full SDLC — from requirements and architecture through build, test, deploy, and delivery — ensuring AI enablement touches every phase, not just code generation.

Benefits

  • Generous PTO and 11 paid holidays, plus well-being and volunteer time off.
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave and a baby stipend.
  • Multiple medical plan options with mental health and wellness support offerings.
  • 401(k) with company match and vesting after one year.
  • $400 annual well-being stipend and tuition assistance up to $5,250.
  • Recognition Rewards, Referral bonuses, exclusive discounts and more!
