Appian is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to join their Customer Success team. This role involves engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, aiding in digital transformation and competitive differentiation. The primary responsibility is to lead projects throughout the entire project life-cycle, including defining, designing, developing, and implementing custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients. This includes working in an agile environment to understand client needs, launching new relational data models, developing APIs for system integration, collaborating with Appian Architects and Technical Delivery Managers, and mentoring consultants during implementations. The role also involves brainstorming AI use cases, implementing Appian's AI tools using techniques like RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models, and collaborating with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle. A key aspect is empowering clients to become self-sufficient in building process applications on their own.
