About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable DevOps Engineer to join our team in support of the Analytic Mission Integration project. In this role, you will leverage your strong troubleshooting instincts and infrastructure expertise to support, maintain, and optimize core virtualized and containerized environments. You will play a critical role in keeping high-priority infrastructure resilient and performant—managing NetApp storage administration, maintaining VMware vSphere clusters, and supporting Linux systems and Kubernetes orchestrations. Requirements

  • ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
  • Strong hands-on diagnostic skills across virtualized hardware, storage networks, and operating systems.
  • Fundamental to advanced Linux SA skills, command-line expertise, and system management.
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp storage administration and data management.
  • Practical experience administering VMware and vSphere environments.
  • Working knowledge of Rancher for container ecosystem management.
  • Ability to obtain SYS1 level system access.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 14+ years of professional systems engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED , PLUS 19+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and requirements management experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster administration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with NetApp Kubernetes plugins (e.g., Trident).
  • Experience with automated deployment tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Background in supporting analytic intelligence integration or mission-critical enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and optimize core virtualized and containerized environments.
  • Manage NetApp storage administration.
  • Maintain VMware vSphere clusters.
  • Support Linux systems and Kubernetes orchestrations.
  • Provide rotational call-in support to backup the team when required.
