About The Position

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to serve as Product Owner for an Agile team developing radar simulation tools for the Long Range Radars Department. This onsite role is based in Woburn, Massachusetts. The Systems Engineering Long Range Radars (SELRR) department provides expertise in concept development, architectural design, requirements generation and flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test, and evaluation of missile defense and sensor systems. The Product Owner will guide product direction and execution for a radar simulation tool suite, manage the Agile backlog and ceremonies, and ensure technical integration. The role also oversees technical, cost, and schedule performance for assigned engineering scope within the AN/TPY-2 program. The engineer will develop and validate radar simulations and software tools, analyze performance data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and U.S. Government organizations. The position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance before starting, with the ability to obtain an interim clearance before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required clearance. The specified clearance type is DoD Secret.
