The Effectors Center within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is currently hiring a Coyote Block 2 SEIT Deputy CPTL to join our Tucson, AZ location on the Coyote portfolio of Counter-UAS programs. SE&TC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. The Coyote Block 2 SEIT Deputy CPTL is a technical role contributing directly to the development, integration, testing, and fielding of complex systems as well as system-of-systems integration. The Coyote portfolio is a set of rapid development and fielding programs resulting in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience performing systems design and integration of CUAS Systems.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

MS or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics
Ability to work independently and work with SMEs, IPTLs, CEs, LSEs, and other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.
Experience evaluating and mitigating technical and programmatic risks
Experience with C2 systems, Datalinks, Radar Systems, CUAS CONOPs
Experience leading/managing test activities
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures
Familiarity with DoD customer infrastructure and Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle

Responsibilities

Support Coyote Block 2 Systems Engineering & Integration/Test teams in leading qualification, flight test, and integration activities.
Communicate with the Lead Systems Engineer, Development Chief Engineer, Production Chief Engineer, and Program leadership to provide status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed.
Provide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines.
