The Effectors Center within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is currently hiring a Coyote Block 2 SEIT Deputy CPTL to join our Tucson, AZ location on the Coyote portfolio of Counter-UAS programs. SE&TC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. The Coyote Block 2 SEIT Deputy CPTL is a technical role contributing directly to the development, integration, testing, and fielding of complex systems as well as system-of-systems integration. The Coyote portfolio is a set of rapid development and fielding programs resulting in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience performing systems design and integration of CUAS Systems.

Nice To Haves

  • MS or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics.
  • Ability to work independently and work with SMEs, IPTLs, CEs, LSEs, and other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.
  • Experience evaluating and mitigating technical and programmatic risks.
  • Experience with C2 systems, Datalinks, Radar Systems, CUAS CONOPs.
  • Experience leading/managing test activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with DoD customer infrastructure and Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support Coyote Block 2 Systems Engineering & Integration/Test teams in leading qualification, flight test, and integration activities.
  • Communicate with the Lead Systems Engineer, Development Chief Engineer, Production Chief Engineer, and Program leadership to provide status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed.
  • Provide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
  • Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines.
