C3BM Principal Systems Analyst (MDA)
About The Position
Mission Driven Research is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst to support Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts. The role includes technical engineering and integration for Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC), future concepts, new functionality, and multinational exchange designs. The analyst will assess technologies for C2BMC/BOA and work with the C2BMC and BOA Advanced Development Government Team Lead, other Advanced Development team members, and federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) to assess and develop technologies and formulate transition strategies. The position coordinates with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) stakeholders, external laboratories, FFRDCs, and university-affiliated research centers (UARCs) to integrate promising technologies into the Missile Defense System (MDS), and develops plans to transition proven capabilities into applicable C2BMC/BOA future spirals. The role also involves analysis and trade studies, risk identification, requirements formulation, acquisition support, coordination of Government Furnished Equipment and Information, and assessment of contractor performance. Candidates should have experience writing or reviewing technical proposals and knowledge of software acquisition strategies and practices for major Department of War weapon system procurements.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance.
- At least 7 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in systems engineering and execution processes.
- Ability to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world testing, integration, and operations.
- Experience writing or reviewing technical proposals.
- Knowledge of software acquisition strategies, best practices, and lessons learned from software development efforts for major weapon system procurements within the DoW.

- Ability to assess software code maturity and overall Technology Readiness Levels.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence exploitation, modeling and simulation tools, and verification, validation, and accreditation procedures.
- Experience with MBSE, modular open systems architecture development, DevSecOps, and cloud migration, including COTS/GOTS software.
Responsibilities
- Assess new technologies for C2BMC/BOA.
- Work with the C2BMC and BOA Advanced Development Government Team Lead, Advanced Development team members, and FFRDCs to assess and develop technologies and formulate transition strategies.
- Coordinate with MDA stakeholders, external laboratories, FFRDCs, and UARCs to integrate promising technologies into the MDS.
- Identify and coordinate transition plans to migrate proven capabilities into applicable C2BMC/BOA Future Spirals.
- Perform analysis and trade studies, identify risks, and formulate requirements for C2BMC/BOA Advanced Development.
- Assist the program manager with acquisition actions to get contractors on contract.
- Coordinate the acquisition of required Government Furnished Equipment and Information.
- Assess overall contractor performance.
