Design applications, platforms or services by translating core business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions, ensuring functional, performance, and reliability through hands-on system design, technical enablement, and strategic decision-making across platform, network, software, and cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong understanding of computers (hardware and OS), network, and software architecture.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • At least one industry cert highly recommended: CISSP, CEH, CCIE Security, CompTIA Security+, and ISC2

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration of system components.
  • Provide guidance to development teams, align technical solutions with business objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Conduct performance and reliability analysis, and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation, ensure security and compliance, and stay updated with industry trends for ongoing improvement.
  • Operate and oversee security controls, continuously monitoring for threats and reducing risk through proactive assessments.
  • Define and evolve secure architectures across applications, systems, and networks, continuously strengthening defenses against emerging threats.
  • Enforce security policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide leadership with clear visibility into the organization’s security posture.
  • Proactively identify security risks and lead incident response efforts to minimize operational, financial, and reputational impact.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, vendors, and business teams to embed security into solutions, provide expert guidance, and promote security best practices across the organization.
