The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Global Supply Chain organization is seeking a knowledgeable Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join their SC Planning team. This position is located in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master's degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field. We will also consider a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- SAP experience or other ERP experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning.
- Experience using Excel Spreadsheets
- Experience in Earned Value Management Systems
- Control Account Manager (CAM) certification
- Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
Responsibilities
- Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
- Manage material budget for contract requirements. Supporting baselining/EVMS requirements.
- Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s) (Cognos, CMEs, IPRS)
- Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements.
- Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
- Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues.
- Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers.
- Travel up to 10% of the time as required.
