About The Position

The Coralville Microelectronics team is looking for a motivated and experienced production planner to support new product introduction and legacy build of microelectronics components. This team directly supports internal and external customer demand. This is an onsite role in Coralville, IA and is eligible for relocation.

Requirements

University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

Experience with production planning
Familiarity with electronics manufacturing
SAP or similar ERP

Responsibilities

Evaluate and coordinate production orders to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
Release, sequence, perform detailed scheduling using APS (where applicable) and reschedule orders based on customer priorities, material availability, and capacity
Identify bottlenecks, develop recovery plans for past-due orders, and drive execution through the S&OE horizon
Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of materials (shortage reviews, material availability) to convert planned orders to production orders on time
Report on and troubleshoot MRP system generated exceptions on make parts and take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary
Communicate any slips or production impacts that affect sales or delivery commitments
Align inter-site transfer orders and support customer delivery commitments and priorities
Track and report execution metrics (schedule adherence, WIP, Trapped Inventory, Nonconforming material (NCM))
