Principal Specialist, General Finance Management (Hybrid)
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance professional to support core accounting, reporting, and financial operations across the business. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support month-end and quarter-end close activities and respond to a variety of ad hoc financial requests. What You Will Do Support internal controls reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end journal entries, and special cross-functional and ad-hoc analysis. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the site controllers on key metric, deliverable, reporting requirements and ad-hoc analysis. Build finance capabilities, tools and skills to increase efficiency and value of the Finance team across the business. Monitor and analyze general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions while supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes. Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Accounting, and operational teams to facilitate journal entries, provide SAP guidance, and resolve accounting-related inquiries. Respond to ad hoc financial and accounting requests, including invoice research and resolution, financial reporting support, and analysis of P&L and balance sheet activities. Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Accounting/Finance experience in multiple disciplines (e.g., program finance, functional-area finance, rates & budgets, material accounting, labor accounting, direct accounting, and overhead accounting).

- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
