Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), Management, Business, Logistics, or related field and a minimum 6 years related experience. NOTE: ln lieu of bachelor’s degree, candidate may also possess an Associate's degree or some college with 10 years' related experience OR High school Diploma with 12 years of related experience.
  • Experience using HTML, XML, PDF, Eagle DB, Eagle Publishing Suite, and Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point (or demonstrated ability and drive to learn these tools)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience using military standard/handbook WLE analysis protocol to include Mil-Std-1388B (ILS/LSA), GEIA-STD-0007, TA-STD-0007, Familiarity with the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements
  • Working and interfacing with DoD customer community
  • Executing and delivering technical manuals and training material documentation for DoD or similar customers
  • Proposal and basis of estimate writing
  • Managing a team with cost and schedule requirements and/or Earned Value Management
  • Experience preparing technical documentation and delivering presentations to internal teams and external customers, including developing reports, briefings, and other engineering artifacts

Responsibilities

  • Influence Product Design for Supportability
  • Coordinate Logistics, Provisioning, Technical Publications, and Training System development efforts
  • Work with Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and other related disciplines to gather and create documentation on complex electronic systems
  • Interpret military specifications and plan compliant deliverable materials
  • Ensure Logistics Product Database (LPD) is accurate and compliant to latest engineering drawing and technical data package
  • Support development and revision of technical publications/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals to meet program requirements and customer needs
  • Support quality assurance efforts, assemble documentation for audits and ensure that documentation is compliant with appropriate regulations
  • Manage, report, and consolidate various data points to track trends that help inform leadership of Sustainment activity
  • Present and participate in program reviews, external customer meetings, and team status meetings
